Moats and Thrones is a duo of voice and double bass, whose stripped back musical style frames otherworldly songs of love and loss. Husband and wife Tom Herbert (The Invisible, Polar Bear) and Alice Grant (Matthew Herbert Big Band, Fulborn Teversham) draw on their years of playing pop, jazz and folk on London’s eclectic music scene to create a beautifully haunting and intimate sound world.
